About Me

About Me

Julia Reid has had a passion for the arts from the second she stepped foot on stage. This just happened to be in third grade where she played Tiger Lilly in "Peter Pan". Yes, how cute. And that little girls' dream is still alive in her today. Throughout her high school career she attended the Capital Area School for the Arts Charter School with a major in acting. During her time there she was nominated for Most Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play for her performance as Serge in "ART" at Hershey, Pennsylvania's Apollo Awards. She also juggled being Choreographer and "Beatrice" in Harrisburg Christian Performing Arts Center's production of Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing". Finally, for her senior year of high school she was granted an incredible opportunity to write, direct, and choreograph her one act play "Left Unsaid" which debuted at the State of the Arts Museum in Harrisburg, PA. Julia was so enthralled by the work, that she couldn't just stop there. She continued her arts eduction at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for her Associates Degree in Acting where she graduated just this past May 2019. Originally a small town girl from Newville, Pennsylvania, you can now find her in NY city waiting tables chasing auditions, acting, painting, singing, dancing, and writing - anything to fulfill that creative outlet! In addition to acting she is an aspiring poet and playwright, with some exciting projects in the works now! More than anything, Julia Anne Reid is ready and eager for the opportunity to show you what she can do! Now available for Theatre, Film, Tv, Commerical, and Model bookings here.
